Jae Dumar World is the flagship recording act of King Shamballah Records and the primary recording name of JW Qiyamah.Creating urban music since 1997, Jae Dumar World began as a childhood DJ project connected to 102 Jamz, under the guidance of radio personality Busta Brown.
Jae Dumar later became a founding member of the independent group Black Seazonz, alongside Busta Brown’s son, Adrian Darell, who recorded under the name Bashi at the time.By the early 2000s, Jae Dumar began pursuing an independent path after parting ways with the collective.
He subsequently released a series of limited-edition EPs and singles in Japan and Southeast Asia, experimenting with several recording identities including DJ Sun, J-1 Supreme, and DJ Himalaya. During this period, Jae Dumar World developed working relationships with a number of underground artists and collectives, including MindsOne, L’Ogrange, and Future Chamber/Hellkeydoe, formerly associated with Papa Wu Records.
These collaborations resulted in additional limited-edition releases, including:- 1,000 Years- The DJ’s Revenge- Enter the Master Key Faction- Without a Trace- The Next DJ LessonThe track “1,000 Years” was subsequently featured on Hellkeydoe’s 2012 release Dawn of the Living.Under the J-1 Supreme banner, Jae Dumar also participated in Wu-Tang’s Next 9 Generals and the Wu World DJ Coalition, further connecting the project to the international underground hip-hop and DJ community.
Today, Jae Dumar World operates as the flagship recording act of King Shamballah Records, continuing its independent approach while expanding into multimedia production.
Jae Dumar World is currently producing the soundtrack for The King Shamballah, the self-titled multimedia project from King Shamballah — The Human Revolution, in collaboration with Japanese artist Marie Stamas.
The project also marks the continuation of Jae Dumar World’s catalog through the planned re-release of the 1,000 Years EP, bringing material from the project’s earlier international era into its current multimedia chapter.From DJ to recording artist.
