Detective Jessica Quetzal is a disciplined, logic-driven investigator who rejects superstition, mythology, and emotional distortion in favor of forensic certainty.But when a series of brutal, symbolically timed murders begins appearing across the city—each occurring between Halloween and Christmas—she is pulled into a pattern that cannot be explained through normal investigative frameworks.
Each victim reports the same pre-death phenomenon:
a shadow presence that does not move like a person… but like attention itself.
As Jessica descends deeper into the case:
